The British boxer is set to fight Jake Paul in an eight-round fight which will be broadcast in real-time on Netflix.
Briton Anthony Joshua stated he will "dominate completely" Jake Paul and "defeat" the American as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize next month's bout.
Former twice world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua battles YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, on paper, a massive disparity - at Miami Kaseya Center on 19 December.
Fighter's Mindset
"I plan to injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35 years old, stated.
"I plan to overwhelm him. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I will seriously aim to cause him pain. That's my goal."
Civil Exchange
In spite of such comments, a composed Joshua and internet personality Jake Paul - normally known for his showmanship - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized ex Joshua opponent Francis Ngannou and labeled him "a joke" after Ngannou declined a fight offer.
Taking Aim at Fury
Anthony Joshua, in the meantime, targeted British opponent Fury - and rejected a large bet 'Tyson Fury' states he will put on a Paul victory.
"[Paul] outshines Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua said.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Opponent
Despite saying he intends to hurt Jake Paul, Joshua declined to talk badly about his rival's boxing ability.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he stated.
Paul's History
Jake Paul - who initially became famous on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since turning professional.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Commercial Attraction
However, the inexperienced fighter is still one of boxing's largest financial successes, frequently receiving substantial paydays.
Forecast and Confidence
The 28 year old forecast a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would prevent the highly-expected match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly in the works for two years from now.
"It's going to be me versus Tyson Fury in the coming year," Jake Paul declared.
Size Difference
As both boxers participated in the customary face-off, with their size difference evident, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how astonishing it is that the bout is truly going ahead.
